RUEY AURELIA WADE
Ruey Aurelia Grandgeorge was born July 9, 1907, the daughter of Louis and Lucy Hopkins Grandgeorge at Eagle Grove. She attended school at Eagle Grove and graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1925. She was united in marriage to Norman Wade of Vincennes, Ind., on March 2, 1946, at Eagle Grove. The couple lived in Eagle Grove, Knierim, and Barnum, where Mr. Wade died in 1965. After her husband's death, Ruey moved back to Eagle Grove and then to the Rotary Ann Nursing Home in 1985. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, David. She is survived by two sons, Stanley, Bryan, Texas; and Robert, Webster City; four grandchildren, one sister, Floross Heslop, Eagle Grove, one nephew, Wally Heslop, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one niece, Mary Lou Ferris, Chanute, Kan. Funeral services were held May 23, at 2 p.m at the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove with the Rev. David Miller officiating Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield. Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
