Mrs. Izetta Marie Watne was born September 6, 1896 at Titonka, Iowa to Daniel and Catherine Klink Gallagher. She was baptized on January 13, 1921 at Elmore, Minn. and on November 23, 1930 was confirmed in the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church. She died at her home on February 3, 1968 after reaching the age of 71 years, 4 months and 27 days.

On August 20, 1924 she was married to Hans Watne at Titonka, Iowa. Except for a brief time in Elmore they made their home in Eagle Grove where she lived the remainder of her life.

Preceding her in death were her parents, 2 sisters who died in infancy and 3 brothers: Frank, Clarence, and Silas. Those who mourn her departure are her husband Hans, 2 daughters: Wanda (Mrs. Willard Glade) of Dows; Jacqueline (Mrs. Robert Ryan) of Eagle Grove; 6 grandchildren; a brother George Gallagher of Elmore, Minn.; 3 sisters Rosaline Gallagher, of St. Paul, Minn.; Catherine (Mrs. Elmer Hilgendorf of Fairmont, Minn., and Iola (Mrs. Dyron Godfrey) of New Port, Minn.

Funeral services were held Monday February 5, 1968 at 2:00 at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church. Rev. M. W. Schiller officiating. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
