BARBARA KELLING
Barbara Baumgartner was born on January 21, 1900, at Renwick, Iowa, to Martin Baumgartner and Famie Hammerly Baumgartner. She attended country school and married James H. Kelling at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. The couple resided in Renwick where she was a clerk in a grocery store. James Kelling died October 27, 1961. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Legion Auxiliary and several birthday clubs in Renwick.

Barbara Kelling died on Monday, December 11, 1995, at the Humboldt Care Center South at the age of 95 years, 10 months, and 20 days. Survivors include nieces Gladys McBurney, Humboldt, Grace Nelson, Renwick, and Marianne Werling, Nevis, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Baumgartner; and sister, Famie Altman.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 14, 1995, at the United Methodist Church in Renwick, Iowa, with the Reverend Shirley Rozendaal officiating the 1:30 p.m. service. Burial was in Swiss Cemetery, rural route, Renwick. Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Renwick, was in charge of arrangements.
