Leo M. Arthur, 75, of Clarion, died Thursday, September 3, 20l5, at Mercy Medical Center — North
Iowa, in Mason City. Veteran’s services will be held at a later date. Leo Merlen Arthur was born February 9, 1940, a son of Galen and Bertha (Lundy) Arthur. He attended school in Clarion. Leo enlisted in the U.S. Navy in July 1957. He served on the destroyer USS Kidd among other vessels. Leo married and had two children and returned to Clarion, he worked construction but was well known as a Jack-of-all-Trades. Leo was known for his sense of humor and enjoyed fun practical jokes He enjoyed hunting but really loved fishing.

Survivors include his partner of 30 years, Carol Christensen; sons: Mike (Tanya) Arthur; Chris
Arthur; brothers- Lelon (Carol) Arthur; Wayne (Barbara) Arthur; grandchildren: Presley, Aaron,
Griffin Arthur and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Leo is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Elvin, Elmer, Archie, Eldon, Gale, Larry and sister Sadie.
