At the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Carpenter, June 21, 1919 occurred the death of Joseph Keith, the youngest son of Mrs. Curtis Petty. Joseph Keith was born May 20, 1918 and died June 21, 1919 age one year, one month and one day, the funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Carpenter home and interment in the Cass Center Cemetery beside his father who preceded him to the better world December 4th, 1918, Rev. J. N. Carey of Woolstock officiating.
