Louise Bertine Arne was born to John and Ingeborg Arne September 27, 1889 at West Bend, Iowa, and passed away at Woodward, Iowa, April 8, 1928, age 38 years, 7 months, and 12 days. Lousie was an invalid during her entire life on this earth, but she gave herself to the Savior, who has promised his people a new and perfect body fitting for the new earth.

Her mother passed away October 13, 1900, and her sister, Anna, died in 1913. She is survived by her father, John J. Arne, two sisters, Miss Clara Arne and Mrs. Shirley Short of Oak Park, Ill., and one brother, Dr. James Arne, of Medford, Mass. Also three uncles, Nels Arne, Rev. Carl Arne, and Lewis Arne, and one aunt, Mrs. J. B. Falkanger.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the home of Mrs. P. J. Folvag on West Broadway and from the East Side Lutheran church. Burial was at the Goldfield cemetery.
