Marilyn Beireis Dies --- August 11

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, August 14 in the Kastler Funeral Home for Marilyn Louise Beireis, 6, with Rev. Wood of Blairsburg, Iowa officiating.

Marilyn Louise Beireis was born to Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Beireis, November 17, 1939 at Eagle Grove,
Iowa, she passed away August 11, 1945 at Woodward State Hospital, Woodward, Iowa, where she had
been for the past two years. She had been in ill health since birth. Marilyn's father was killed in action in Germany, April 10, 1945. She leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Mrs. Herbert Beireis, a sister, Barbara, and a brother, Leo of Long Beach, Calif., grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Claude of Long Beach., Calif., Mr. and Mrs. William Beireis of Eagle Grove. Burial was made in the Goldfield cemetery.

Those present from out of town were Arlene Brown of Ames, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Black of Waterloo, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Melvin, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schutt, Mrs. Emile Mourlam and daughter Hazel, Edna and Ethel Mourlam, Mrs. George Mourlam all of Woolstock, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Claude of Webster City, and Mrs. Clarence Bromley and family of Mason City, Iowa.
