Beireis, James Herbert, Sgt.; Killed in action in Germany April 18, 1945. Wife: Mrs. James H. Beireis, Long Beach, Calif. Parents: Mr. and Mrs. William Beireis, Eagle Grove, Iowa.

Killed in Action
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beireis received word Sunday that their son, Sgt. James Herbert Beireis, was killed in action April 18 in Germany. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bernice Beireis and three children, Barbara, Marilyn, and Leo, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beireis and one sister, Mrs. Clarence Bromley of Mason City. Mrs. Beireis, Barbara and Leo are residing in Long Beach, Calif, and Marilyn is a patient at the State Hospital in Woodward.
Sgt. Beireis left Eagle Grove on March 25, 1944, for the Army, and went overseas in December, 1944.
