Mary Elizabeth Bonnstetter died June 30, 2017 at A New Age of Senior Care at Wellington, Wellington, Florida. She was born to Guy Harrison Wright and Hazel Collins Wright on June 27, 1924 in Humboldt, Nebraska. She graduated Valedictorian from high school and then left to work as a secretary in Washington, D.C. She then moved to work in Portland, Oregon where she met and married Rex Bonnstetter, who was attending dental school courtesy of the U. S. army. After Rex's graduation and discharge, they lived in Exira, Iowa where daughter Ann was born. They moved to Kanawha, Iowa where they lived from 1949 until 1984 when Rex retired from practicing dentistry. Mary enjoyed playing golf and bridge and traveling all of her life and continued these pursuits after moving to Bella Vista, Arkansas. After Rex's death in 2000 she moved to Lake Worth, Florida to be close to family. She continued golfing and playing bridge but also enjoyed watching her great grandsons, Steven and Rex.

She is survived by her daughter Ann Granzow and her husband Mike and grandson Jack Granzow of Wellington; granddaughter Elizabeth Slaman and husband Steve of Lake Worth, Florida; four great grandsons, Alex Granzow and Nicolas Granzow of Rincon, Georgia, and Steven and Rex Slaman of Lake Worth, Florida. Mary's and Rex's ashes will be returned to Kanawha, Iowa at a later time.
