Orville Dean Miller, 64, of 3333 Margo Burt Rd., Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Acme, died Monday in South Lake Memorial Hospital, Clermont, Fla. He was born April 13, 1924, in Glendo, Wyo., son of Mabel Schurr of Wheatland, Wyo., and the late Alvin Miller. He was a resident of Acme for 30 years. He was retired from the Port Authority Transit in Pittsburgh as a welder. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a former member of Ridge Runners Trailer Club. He was a member of Mount Zion Community Church of Acme. Surviving are his wife, Beulah Mae Mallison Miller; two sons, Dean A. Miller of Acme and Brian L. Miller of Laurel Hill, Fla.; four grandchildren; two stepsons, Ron Rodgers of Clermont, Fla., and Dennis Rodgers of Omaha, Neb.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Vernon (Janis) Krull of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Mrs. Larry (Lois) Parks of Hampton, Iowa, and Mrs. Ray (Sharon) Kliensmith of Millington, Mich.; 14 step-grandchildren, and a step-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his first wife, Luella J. Ulery Miller, and a grandson.
