Leslie Duane Studer, one of three sons born to Maurice and Charlotte Studer, was born March 3, 1958. He attended Clarion Public School until the family moved to Eagle Grove in 1968. He attended the Lela Howland School one year and was a student at the middle school at the time of his death. Leslie was a member of the Boy Scouts for a time and he enjoyed every part of being a growing boy, fishing and all outdoor sports, however his greatest pleasure was probably taking part in the Summer Baseball Program. He attended Bible School and Vacation Church School at the Clarion Church of Christ and the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove. Death came in a tragic auto accident December 31, 1969, his age being 11 years and nine months. He is survived by his parents Maurice and Charlotte Studer Studer, two brothers, Stephen and Timothy of Eagle Grove, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Boggs of Clarion, many aunts, uncles and cousins, plus a host of friends. Leslie was a quiet good natured lad who had an interest in everything about him. His many friends will always remember his cheerful, good humor in spite of a constant skin allergy problem which caused much discomfort. He loved life and lived it well.

Services were held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Eyler Funeral Home in Clarion. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.
