MRS. DENCKLAU, 84, DIES THIS AFTERNOON
Mrs. Dorothea Dencklau, 84, a resident of Colfax township for more than 50 years died at the home of her son, Otto Dencklau, in Newark township this afternoon. She had been ill only a short time. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles Algoe of Webster City, the following sons, Ernest Dencklau of Fort Dodge; William Dencklau of Vincent and Arthur Dencklau of Thor as well as 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Two sisters are living in Germany. Her husband died in 1931. A son and three grandchildren also preceded her in death, one of whom, Chester Algoe, was killed in action in Europe. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Dencklau are incomplete and will be announced later. The body is at the Laufersweiler funeral home.
