Paul Dean Burt died on May 23, 2017 at the age of 86 after a short illness. Paul was born in Rowan, Iowa on October 7, 1930 on the farm and remained a sunny farm boy his entire life, greeting all with a smile. He served in the Air Force for four years. He married Joanne Abbott in 1951. They lived in many places as they found their way to Broomfield in 1967. Paul was a national sales leader for a major insurance company. He decided to change careers in 1978 and go into real estate. Paul was a passionate golfer, good card player and a straight shooter in word and deed. He knew a lot of the Broomfield residents after 50 years and called all his friend. We will miss him. Paul is survived by Dave Burt, Tom Burt, and Susan Burt. Grandchildren Melissa Kite, Tommy Burt, Samantha Burt, Stephanie Burt, and Laura Blake. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by wife Joanne (2009) and son Roger (2007). A memorial service will be held at Rundus Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10 at 1:00 pm. Please join us to celebrate Paul's life.

Paul Dean Burt, born to James and Laura (McCallum) Burt of Rowan, Iowa on October 7, 1930, has died. Dean passed on May 23, 2017 after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held June 10 at 1 p.m. at Rundus Funeral Home in Broomfield, Colorado.
