Ruth Elizabeth Headley Myers

April 21, 1909 ---- February 9, 1998

Ruth E. Myers 88, died Feb 9, 1998 at Peoples Nursing Care Center in Independence. She was born April 21, 1909 in Boone, the daughter of Cecil and Ida Yegge Headley. She married Maurice Myers on Oct. 14, 1930 at Sacred Heart rectory in Boone. Survivors include two daughters, Joanne (Ron) Peters of Arvada, CO and Arly (Mark) Hansen of Manchester, one son-in-law Jack Auringer of Waterloo, two daughters-in-law, Ann Myers and Kathleen Hogan both of Winthrop, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, one sister Maxine Damiani of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Maurice on Dec. 7, 1980, two sons, Gary and Dean, one daughter Beverly Auringer, a grandchild, Cindy Auringer, one great-grandchild, Grant Morris, one brother, Lawrence Headley and two sisters, Marie Brown and Eleanor Sheldahl. Burial in St Patricks Cemetery, Winthrop.
