Leatrice Eileen (Guinn) Christensen of Vincent, Iowa formerly of Lohrville and Lake City, died April 30th, 2017 at the age of 92. Leatrice was born on February 15th, 1925 to John and Rose Guinn of Emmetsburg, Iowa. Leatrice was united in marriage to Richard Christensen February 19, 1945. Leatrice had many rolls [sic] in life including a wife and a mother of 6 children.

Leatrice is survived by her son Ron (Linda) Christensen of Graettinger, daughter Laverna Schmidt (Mark Tremmell) of Spirit Lake, daughter Lois (Fred) Hawn of Spirit Lake, daughter Laura (Tim) Vogel of Bixby, OK and son Russell of Vincent, fourteen grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren. Leatrice was preceded in death by husband Richard, son Roger, one grandson, daughter-in-law Lori Jean Christensen, and 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Lohrville.
