Marlys Lorraine Ridley, 82, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, March 2, 2017. She was born October 20th, 1934 in Belmond, Iowa to George Christensen and Mable (Reed) Christensen. She and her husband moved to Bella Vista in June 2003 from Lakewood, California. Marlys was a member of the Bella Vista Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence D. Ridley, one sister and two brothers. Marlys is survived by two sons, Lawrence D. Ridley, Jr. of Bentonville, Arkansas and Leonard M. Ridley of Springdale, Arkansas; one daughter, Lorraine E. Ridley of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one brother, Raymond J. Christensen of Britt, Iowa; one sister, Velma L. Yender of New Prague, Minnesota; and four grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 6th, 2017 at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
