March 25, 1920 ---- April 6, 2017

Grand Rapids, MI ---- Connie Rodenhouse, daughter of Benjamin and Anna Post, born in Kanawha, Iowa, on March 25, 1920, passed into her eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 6, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) and brother Ben (Edie) Post. Surviving are her children, Mary and the late Chuck Terpstra, Kathy and Bob Allen, Carole and Tom VanDam, Robert Rodenhouse, Jr., David and Cindi Rodenhouse, Debi and Joel Datema; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Connie was a charter member of Highland Hills and West End Christian Reformed Church, where she faithfully served. Her life was enriched by a relationship with God, her family, and friends. With her compassionate heart, she was a loving nurse to many, and continued to grow in grace and godliness, with inner strength and a beauty of character. Along with Bob, she enjoyed building family traditions and memories. A private family burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park after the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at Raybrook Manor Chapel (2121 Raybrook SE) on Tuesday, Apr. 11, at 11:30 AM. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, Apr. 10 at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE) from 6-8 PM, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Raybrook Chapel from 10:30-11:30 AM. Memorial gifts, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Holland Home or the Masselink Scholarship Foundation at Kuyper College.
