Margaret Ann Hosier Boyd, a 20-year resident of Las Vegas, was born in Adair, Iowa. Margaret married Russell Max Boyd Sr., Jan. 2, 1943, in Las Vegas. While her husband, Max, served as a B-17 pilot in England during World War II, Margaret worked at North American Aviation (later North American/Rockwell/Boeing) and retired from that company in 1985. In her retirement, she served as a docent at the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, Calif. Margaret was the kindest, most loving person you would ever meet.

She is survived by her husband, of 71 years, Max; her daughter, Cheryl (Ron) Hill of Las Vegas; her sons, Russ of Las Vegas and Tom (Lynn) of Anaheim, Calif.; her sister, Verna and niece, Ann (Adam) Handler of Pacific Palisades, Calif.; and grandchildren, Eric Boyd of Englewood, Colo., Renee Boyd of Las Vegas, Michael Hill of Las Vegas, Alexandra Hill of Los Angeles and Christopher Boyd of Anaheim. Services will be private.
