Cleo J. (Skinner) Hough, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2017. She was born February 1, 1925 in Goldfield, IA. She was a graduate of Goldfield High School, attended Iowa State Teachers College and graduated from the Electronic Radio Television Institute in Omaha, NE. After graduation, she came to work at WPAFB as a teletypist, where she met the love of her life, Bill Hough. Cleo also worked for many years at the City of Dayton Health Department as well as Kelley Girl Services. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church. She volunteered over 30 years at Kettering Medical Center delivering flowers and mail to patients and a former member of the Safety Kids and Mended Hearts associations with the hospital. Cleo was a charter member in the Classy Lassies Red Hat Society.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. Her love of genealogy took her to England where she traced family history. Always an avid sports fan, she followed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in sports and other school activities. Cleo was known as "photo mom" as she always had her camera in hand taking and sharing pictures with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolland and Nellie Skinner and her husband of 57 years, Bill Hough. She is survived by her sons, Duane (Darletta) and Randall (Pamela); Grandchildren, Joshua (Robin), Jeffery, Stacy and Anthony (Heather); Great-grandchildren, Sierra, Benjamin, Jeremiah and Lucas. She is also survived by her sister, Garnette Dupont and brother, Joe (Phyllis) Skinner, and sister-in-law, Judith Hough and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Kettering Hospital, Visiting Angels, Village at The Greene and Hospice of Dayton for their wonderful care and support.

Visitation will be at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25. Funeral service will follow immediately beginning at 11:00. Burial services will be at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens in Centerville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton and Community United Methodist Church.
