Graveside services for George A. Doolittle, 54, a former Webster City resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cass Center cemetery northeast of Webster City with the Rev. S.W. Cunningham officiating. Mr. Doolittle died Wednesday at his home in Ridgeway, Mo.

George A. Doolittle, son of Artie and Marie Claude Doolittle, was born May 17, 1919, at Webster City. He was reared and educated in this community, and was united in marriage on May 2, 1943 to Viola Marie Dingman, and the couple made their home on a farm near Webster City until 1966 when they moved to Ridgeway where they had been farming since that time.

Surviving are his wife; three sons and three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Arlene) Anderson, Fort Dodge, Frank, Truman, Tina, Billy and Joyce, all at home; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Gay (Verla) Campbell of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Merle (Arlene) Shelton of Webster City. He was preceded in death by a son, Artie A. Doolittle; his parents and one sister.
