WILLIAMS - Mae E. Simpson, died Jan. 1, 1969 at the Hamilton County hospital in Webster City. She was born Feb. 19, 1892, at Fort Dodge, daughter of George A. and Margaret Franklin Doyle. She was educated in the Williams schools. She was married to Ben H. Simpson at Clarion May 30, 1910, and the couple farmed in the Williams community.

She is survived by the following children: Kenneth J. Schweppe of Aberdeen, Wash., Mrs. Lawrence (Glenndola) Schweppe, Baldwin Park, Calif., Mrs. Kenneth (Nona Mae) Wickline of Monrovia, Calif.; Mrs. Howard (Marjorie) McFarland of La Puenta, Calif., Mrs. Charles (Mary Celeste) Ryan of Webster City and Mrs. Marion (Roslynn) Ose, Blairsburg, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, one son, four brothers and one sister. Mrs. Simpson was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church in Williams.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Mary's Catholic church with Father Bisenius officiating and with burial at the St. Mary's cemetery. Rosary was Friday evening at 8 o'clock at the Scott-Surls chapel in Williams.
