Chester Ronald "Ted" Steenblock

Goodell - Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Reformed Church, Meservey, for Ted Steenblock, 54, who died Saturday of a heart attack. The Rev. Peter Yff will officiate. The Johnson Funeral Home, Goodell, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Steenblock was born Sept. 1, 1913, to Peter and Margaret (Frohling) Steenblock. In 1938, he married Alice Bauman at Mason City. They have lived on a farm near Goodell since. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Elaine and Marilyn, both of Goodell; four brothers, Pete and Harvey, both of Kanawha; Dale, New Hampton, and Richard, Goodell; four sisters, Mrs. Abner (Edna) Meintz, Thornton; Mrs. Bernard (Hattie) Koenan, Belmond; Mrs. Ray (Gertrude) Pals, Kanawha, and Mrs. Alfred (Leona) Meinders, Belmond. Burial is set for in the Amsterdam Cemetery, Goodell.
