Rita R. Anderson, age 73, of Belmond, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond. A private family graveside service will take place at the Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation for Rita A. Anderson will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Dugger Funeral Home, 111 Luick’s Lane South in Belmond.
Rita Rae, daughter of Chester and Kathryn Graves White, was born on February 18, 1943 in Webster City. She graduated from high school and went on to beauty school. Rita worked as a hairdresser and had her own salon work a short time. Rita enjoyed her flower gardens and feeding the birds. She was an animal lover.
Rita is survived by her brother Tim (Danona) White, half-brother Randy (Linda) Srigley and family, niece Teresa Langer and family, and nephew Charles White and family. She is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Kathryn, husband Bernie, and brother David.
