August 16, 1873 ---- August 31, 1953

Ida Mancle was born to Wilber Mancle and Alvina Peddit Mancle, August 16, 1873 at Walford, Wis. Ida was married to Harry Weekes in 1891 and they lived in O'Neill, Neb. Five children were born to this union, James, Ernest, Maude, Harry and Mary Weekes. Mr. Weekes died in 1902 and their son Harry and daughter Mary Weekes Heinz are also deceased. Mrs. Weekes was married in 1914 to B. F. LaVell. and the one child born to this union died in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. LaVell lived at Clarion, Goldfield and later moved to Eagle Grove where Mr. LaVell died in 1940.

Mrs. LaVell has been very ill since May 1st and died August 31st at the Schultz Nursing home. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Kastler Funeral home in charge of Rev. Harrison Dawes. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.
