In the year 1900 she came with her parents to Iowa. She attended the Public Schools of Wright county, and grew to womanhood in this vicinity. On the 22nd day of June, 1912 she was united in marriage to Edward Pohlman. Mr. and Mrs. Pohlman have lived in this vicinity. Mrs. Pohlman was a kind and dutiful wife and mother, well known and respected in her home community. There was order in her household. The children were faithfully kept in Sunday School, at church attendance, at public school and at work. She was herself a very active lady. And was a faithful worshipper at the church service as long as she was able. Her health began to fail some months ago, and she declined rapidly. She bore her sufferings patiently.
