Ethel Fern Loux Capsel

June 3, 1901 -- November 29, 1954

Mrs. Earl Capsel Rites Thursday Afternoon

Mrs. Earl Capsel, 53, died early Monday morning at her home following a long illness. Mrs. Capsel spent three months in the hospital at Iowa City, where she had brain surgery at three different times. She was brought home eleven days before her death. Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 1:30 at the Methodist church [Eagle Grove] and the pastor Rev. Roy Cox will officiate. Burial will be in the Cass cemetery near Webster City.

Mrs. Capsel is survived by her husband and ten children, Mrs. Bronston White of Madison, Tenn., Mrs. Ray Allen, Mrs. Roger Griffith, Sgt. Milo Jack Capsel, serving in Germany, Mrs. Duane Willard, Mrs. Morris Turner, Charles, Shirley, Evelyn and Judy Capsel. She is also survived by her mother Mrs. Louise Loux of this city, seven brothers and sisters, and eight grandchildren. Mrs. White has arrived from Madison, Tenn., to attend the funeral, but Sgt. Capsel will be unable to be here.
