Vicki Moore, 68, of Moravia, passed away Wednesday evening, March 30, 2016 at her home. Vicki was born in Mason City on Dec. 31, 1947, the daughter of Kenneth and Dolores (Thompson) Wagner. She attended Corwith-Wesley Schools and graduated with the Class of 1966. Following high school, Vicki attended the Allen Memorial Hospital School of Radiology in Waterloo, Iowa, graduating in 1968. Vicki maintained employment with Allen Hospital while going through the radiology program. She was later employed by Boone County Hospital in Boone.

On Nov. 23, 1968, Vicki was united in marriage to Andy Moore in Corwith, Iowa. To this union, they were blessed with two children, Jeff and Jason. In January of 1975, Andy and Vicki relocated to Appanoose County. She was a resident of Appanoose County for most of her adult life. Vicki was a dedicated employee for Dr. Craig Stater's Office in Centerville for approximately 32 years. In her retirement, she worked part time at Lange Funeral Home.

Vicki truly loved her family and enjoyed spending any opportunity she had with them. She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren's countless sporting events. Vicki was a very caring person, and her smile brightened the room. In her free time she had many hobbies, including gardening, canning, and sewing. She was a long time member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Moravia. She was very active in the church, including singing in the choir, helping with the annual Church Bazaar and organizing numerous church fundraisers. She was also a member and past president of PEO. Vicki thoroughly enjoyed and never missed a "Wagner Women Weekend" in Clear Lake.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Andy Moore of Moravia; her parents, Kenneth and Dolores Wagner of Kanawha; children, Jeff (Nichole) Moore of Centerville and Jason (Marci) Moore of Moravia; four siblings, Dave (Vicki) Wagner of Corwith, Dan (Vicki) Wagner of Ankeny, Tim (Shawna) Wagner of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ramona "Moni" (Terry) Stewart of Waukee; three grandchildren, Kelsey Moore of Centerville, Kaitlyn Moore of Centerville, and Kale Moore of Moravia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Grace United Methodist Church in Moravia with Pastor Cindy Finn officiating. A visitation took place at Lange Funeral Home in Moravia on Sunday, April 3 from 12-8 p.m. with the family present from 5-8 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral services at Main Station Cemetery near Moravia. Memorials have been established to the Moravia Grace Fellowship Hall and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa.
