Mrs. Genevieve Lockwood Davis, of 2120 Princeton Ave. died Oct. 19, 1990, at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery. Harry and Bryant Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Davis, a native of Clarion, Iowa, was a homemaker. She was a Charlotte resident since 1923 and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the English Speaking Union and Lovers of Wisdom Book Club. She also was a member of the Liberty Hall Chapter of the DAR, the Huguenot Society of Pennsylvania, and New England Historic Genealogical Society. Survivors are her son, Richard Davis of Pittsburgh; daughter, Mrs. Barbara Hunter of Asheville; sister, Mrs. William Divine of Racine, Wis.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 200 W. Trade St., Charlotte, N.C. 28202.
