Services Held for Mrs. Roy Carlson
Funeral services for Mrs. Roy Carlson, 42, were held December 11 at the Associated Church in Owatonna, Minn. Rev. Stanley Johnson and pastor Elvin Rozan officiated.

Wanda Mathilda Carlson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hiemstra of Clarion, passed away December 8 from cerebral hemorrhage. She was born August 21, 1930, at Meservey, Iowa. She married Roy Carlson November 10, 1962, in Minneapolis. They moved to Owatonna in 1968 where she was employed at Owatonna Savings and Loan at the time of her death.

Survivors are her husband, Roy Carlson; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hiemstra of Clarion; two brothers, Herman Hiemstra of Clarion and Carl Hiemstra of Carte Madera, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Arlene) Caquelin of Hokahn, Minn., Mrs. Frank (Leona) Studer, and Mrs. Ralph (Rose) Meinders, both of Clarion. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Wilma Marie, December 10, 1930.
