14 February 1858 --- 24 September 1900
Dr. Fleek received a telegram on Monday to the effect that his brother-in-law, Mr. J. M. Rosenburg, of Woolstock, Iowa, had committed suicide. No reason can be assigned for the deed but he had not seemed to be quite himself for some time. Some of his dealings seemed strange and he worried for fear he would lose his money. He had recently sold his large farm and bought and sold another - was well fixed financially. He was a son of Mrs. Bert Temple, of this city and was united in marriage to Miss Annie Fleek, about twelve years ago. Besides his bereaved wife he leaves three children, two boys and one girl. Dr. Fleek and sister, Mr. D. E. Hooker, left on Tuesday, to be present at the funeral. The remains are expected here this afternoon for interment in Greenwood cemetery [in Brodhead, Rock, Wisconsin].
