LAKE GENEVA, WI – Damon Alton Dayton, 72, Kelly Road, Rte. 2, Lake Geneva, died Sunday in Lakeland Hospital. Born Oct. 10, 1892, in Clarion, Iowa, he was the son of George F. and Ola French Dayton. He was a veteran of service with the Infantry in World War I and a charter member of American Legion Edward Horvath Post 520, Williams Bay. Mr. Dayton had resided in Lake Geneva the past 35 years and retired in 1960 as caretaker of Sunset Hills Association. His only survivor is a sister, Mrs. Lillian Norton, Lake Mills. Burial In Oak Hill Cemetery.
