Fenton, IA - Sara Marie Luedke Weisbrod, 78, Fenton, died Jan 19 at 2:30 p.m. of a heart attack. Mrs. Weisbrod was born May 5, 1883 at Klemme, Iowa. Her husband, Elmer, died in 1952 and in 1953 she moved to Fenton. Mrs. Weisbrod suffered a heart attack as she was shoveling snow in an effort to free her automobile from drifts in her driveway. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Ralph, Fenton: Harold (Bob), Marion, Ill, and Mrs. Milford (June) Elbert of Whittemore, five grandchildren and three sisters and two brothers. Her parents, one sister and one brother preceded her in death. She was a member of Fenton Methodist church, the Golden Age of WSCS, charter member of Fenton Women's Club, treasurer for Home Missionary Society for many years, Dorcus sewing club and sang in the choir for 40 years. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist church with Rev. H. A. Walker officiating. Burial was in the Fenton Methodist cemetery and Thomas Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
