November 1, 1886 ---- December 16, 1963

Oliver R. Vevle, 77, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Eagle Grove, died Monday after a brief illness. Funeral services were Wednesday at St. Olaf Lutheran church and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Mr. Vevle is survived by his wife and one son Rudy of Chicago. His twin sons, Lloyd and Floyd were killed in action on flying missions during World War II. He was a relative of the P. B. Hovland family here. A coffee hour was held at the Evangelical Lutheran church following the interment, for relatives and old friends to visit with the family.
