Maria Wiemann age 83 of Bushnell, IL passed away at 1:20 P.M. Monday January 26, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born on September 25, 1931 in Augsburg, Germany to Georg and Anna Mack Shruff. She married Lester Wiemann in Bushnell, IL on April 12, 1969 and he preceded her in death on April 21, 2000. Maria is survived by 4 Daughters Brigitte Wilt and Leona N. Kennedy both of Bushnell, IL, Carol Sue Farrar of Galesburg, IL and Leslie Wiemann of Bardolph, IL, 4 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 Sister – Anneliese Kraus of Augsburg, Germany. She was also preceded in death by her Parents. Marie worked for Wilson Packing Plant in Monmouth, IL until her retirement in 1986. She also worked for Blue Bell in Bushnell, IL from 1961 – 1967. Cremation Rites will be accorded and burial of ashes will be at a later date in Alexander Cemetery in Alexander, IA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bushnell Fire & Rescue Squad. Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL is in charge of arrangements.
