Mae M. Harrison of Miami Shores passed away peacefully on January 31, 2016 at the age of 99. She is survived by her three sons: Moe and wife Mary, Mike and wife Laura and Peter and his wife Nancy, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mae was born in Clarion, Iowa in 1916 and moved to South Florida to join her loving husband, Maurice (Moe) Harrison, who was instrumental in leading the M. R. Harrison Construction Company and related Harrison Crane Service for many of it's 50 years. Mae was very involved in community affairs acting as President of The Junior League of Miami and other civic organizations. For a number of years Mae co-managed Caprice, a very successful dress shop in South Miami. Mae and Moe's love of life was highlighted by their many travels throughout the world. There was not much of the world they didn't see in their 68 years of marriage. Moe died 8 years ago. Hopefully their travels can now recommence. A special thanks to the professionals at Abbey Delray South for the many years of loving care they provided to both Moe and Mae.
