Kenneth L. Anderson, 76, of Hansville died June 9 at home. He was born to Leonard and Lillie (Severson) Anderson in Goodell, Iowa. He graduated from Scobey High School in 1947 and served in the Army as a Sergeant. For 38 years, he worked as a shipyard construction supervisor at MARCO, retiring in 1993. Mr. Anderson enjoyed traveling and working with metal. He is survived by his wife, Ruby (Singer) Anderson; two sons, Daniel Anderson (Kristie) and Mark Anderson (Karen); a brother, Arlo Anderson (Violet); three sisters, Lorraine Thieven (Phil), Alice Willard (Bud), and Hazel Rassmussen; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Kasey Schmidt. A service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Stone Chapel in Poulsbo. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Kitsap County, P.O. Box 3416, Silverdale, WA 98383. Arrangements are by the Stone Chapel.

Kenneth L. Anderson 76 of Hansville, died at home on June 9, 2005. He was born on Sept. 9, 1928 in Goodell, Ia to Leonard Anderson and Lillie (Severson) Anderson. Mr. Anderson attended Scobey High School and graduated in 1947. Kenneth was a Sargeant the US Army from 1951-1953 and was awarded a Silver Star.He married Ruby Singer on May 18, 1957 in Seattle.He worked as a shipyard construction supervisor for MARCO and after 38 years he retired in 1993. Mr. Anderson enjoyed traveling, frabricating and repairing meal objects. He is survived by his wife Ruby Anderson of Hansville; sons Daniel Anderson and his wife Kristie of Maple Valley , Mark Anderson and his wife Karen of Renton; brother Arlo Anderson of Scobey, MT; sisters Lorraine Thieven and her husband Phil of Richland, MT, Hazel Rossmussen of Flaxville, MT, Alice Willard and her husband Bud of Columbia Falls, MT and two gradchildren Ryan and Kasey Schmidt. Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County PO Box 3416, Silverdale, WA 98383.
