Stockton, CA --- Jean M. Halverson, 83, died on Sunday, August 10, 2003. She was born on August 7, 1920 in Eagle Grove, Iowa and has been a Stockton resident for 55 years. Survived by her loving daughter Jayne Azevedo and son-in-law Joe of Stockton. Devoted grandmother of Joey, Ryan and Kayla. Dear sister of Virginia Clark of Iowa and also survived by nieces and nephews. She was a retired Registered Nurse and worked for many years at the Stockton State Hospital. A Graveside service will be held at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, Pine Street, Lodi on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, on Tuesday, August 12, 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 13, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. DeYoung Shoreline Chapel in care of the arrangements.
