William Lester LARUE

August 11, 1896 ---- May 26, 1958

William Lester LaRue, a resident of Minerva Township [Clearwater county, Minnesota] since 1931, passed away at Midnight May 26. He had been in poor health for several months and death came at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for a few days. LaRue was born at Dows, Iowa on August 11, 1896 of parents Thomas and Marjorie LaRue. He was united in marriage to his wife Coila at Clarion, Iowa on June 30, 1920. In 1922 Mr. and Mrs. LaRue moved to South Dakota, where they lived until 1928 when they moved to the west coast. In 1928 they came to Clearwater County where they have lived until the present time. He leaves his wife Coila, two daughters and two sons. They are Margie LaRue, Mrs. Virginia Carter, Harold and Louis LaRue, living in this community. There are 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services were held in Grace Chapel on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. May 29, with Pastor Wan Wynen officiating. Interment was made in the Rice Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home.
