Frances Wilson died peacefully at her home in Lake Isabella, California on December 14, 2015. Frances is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Carol Tweedt, brother Leo Prelip, sister Nelda Prelip as well as 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and 10 of her siblings, as well as her daughter, Kathryn Verzi, son Dennis Tweedt and granddaughter Nikki.

Frances was born Frances Marion Prelip on August 17, 1918 in Kanawha, Iowa. She was the sixth of thirteen children of Frank Prelip and Julie Andreasen. She married Harris Tweedt, together they had three children. They relocated to California in 1953. After divorcing Harris she moved to Hawthorne, CA. She later married Lloyd Wilson. After working years as a parts editor, she retired and moved up to Lake Isabella where she enjoyed many years. She was a member of the South Fork Womans Club for 25 years and an active member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

Services will be held at Shepherd of the Hills, Lutheran Church on Monday Dec. 21st at 11am.
