CLARION - Sharon A. Delger, 54, of Clarion, died Monday (Dec. 25, 2000) at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church, Clarion with the Rev. Gary Boen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at First Lutheran Church, Clarion. Willim Funeral Home, 602 N. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

Sharon Ann Delger, 54, of Clarion, died Monday, December 25, 2000, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. Sharon Ann Delger was born June 4, 1946, at Belmond, the daughter of Henry and Betty (Bessie Anderson) Delger. Sharon was raised and educated in Clarion, graduating from Clarion High School in 1964. She then attended Beauty School in Ames. She worked at Jerde's Cafe in Clarion and also cleaned for a few businesses and several homes in Clarion. Sharon was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church, Clarion. Sharon is survived by her parents, Henry and Betty Delger of Clarion; one daughter, Tonia Nemechek of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Delger and wife, Beverly of Clarion. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and one daughter, Tara Ann.
