October 20, 1901 -- June 5, 1988

Reid G. Beveridge, 86, of Memphis, [Missouri] died Sunday, June 5, in the Scotland County Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1901, in Goldfield, Iowa, the son of Taylor Reid and Adeline Elizabeth Beveridge. He was a 1925 graduate of Monmouth College. He operated a farm near Arbela, Mo., until his retirement when he moved to Memphis. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his brothers Glen of Hayworth, Ill., and Paul of Palo Alto, Calif.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Memphis with Rev. Clifford Horton officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Goldfield. Memorials may be made to the Memphis First Presbyterian Church. Payne-Gerth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
