Nadine Ione Nail Brammeier, 88, of Ranson, WV, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown, WV. Born August 12, 1924 in Woolstock, IA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Nail and Irene Vulgamott Nail.

She worked as a “Rosy the Riveter” during World War II, building B 25s at North American and than held several retail and office jobs from the 60’s until the 80’s in Kansas City, MO. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar W.A. Brammeier in 2011.

She is survived by her son, Terry Brammeier and wife, Joan of Ranson, WV; her oldest daughter, Sandra Brammeier Coen, of Sequim, WA, her youngest daughter, Kathie Brammeier Rogers and husband, Bill of Ashville, NC, her sister, Phyllis Nail Gray and husband, Don, of Kansas City, KS., her sister-in-law, Martha Lee Brammeier Vonholten of Grandview, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. She also has 10 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date in Kansas City.
