Mrs. Catherine Mickelson

Mrs. Catherine Hoskins (sic. should be Hausken) Mickelson passed away at her home in North Clark street early Sunday morning, the cause of her demise being due to old age. She was born in Norway on Dec. 17 in the year of 1833. There she was married to Mr. Mickelson and to this union two children were born long since deceased. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the United Lutheran church under the direction of Rev. Sletten, and the remains were placed in the Rose Hill cemetery. She leaves but two relatives here, two nieces, Mrs. T. Midland and Mrs. T. Netland.
