Jason Michael Beaver was born February 21, 1983 to Michael and Wanda (Aldrich) Beaver in Clarion, Iowa. Jason was raised in rural Britt and later, Kanawha, and attended school at West Hancock, graduating with the Class of 2001. Following high school, Jason worked a variety of jobs helping farmers, installing and inspecting utility poles, and doing installation work on wind farms around the country. All of these jobs allowed him to work outside, which he loved. He later worked at Snap-On in Algona, from 2011 until January of this year.
Jason was united in marriage with Rosebud Klein on May 15, 2010 at his grandparents’ farm. The couple eventually made Kanawha their home after spending time in various states while Jason was working on the wind farms. Jason loved being outdoors; bow hunting and fishing were among his hobbies. He enjoyed making walking sticks, knives, candles and necklaces out of a variety of materials. Music was a passion of his; he loved listening to and playing music and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
Jason will be remembered for his big heart, his love of everyone and for his big teddy bear hugs. He was also loved for his sense of humor, making everybody laugh and for his practical jokes and prank phone calls to his family and friends.
Jason is survived by his wife Rose of Kanawha, his mother Wanda Babe of Kanawha, his father Michael (Beth) Beaver of Garner, his sister Jessica (Tyler) Randall and their son Roy of Woodward, brother Gabe Stearns of Ames, grandparents Don and Kay Aldrich of Belmond, grandmother Faye Beaver of Florence, Alabama, grandmother Betty Jo Myrick of Killen, Alabama, grandmother Betty Tompkins of Garner, parents-in-law Rodney and Laurie Klein and family of Eagle Grove and Jeff and Kelly Ellis and family of Kanawha, grandparents-in-law Ed and Dorothy Cooper of Indianapolis, Indiana, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends. Memorial contributions may be sent in care of the family to Ewing Funeral Home, Clarion, Iowa.
