Paul Van Buskirk died here Feb. 21
Funeral services for Paul Van Buskirk were held Saturday at the Methodist church in Klemme. Rev. James Albertson officiating and Fulton Funeral Home in charge. Burial was in the Belmond cemetery. Pallbearers were Gerald, Owen and Earl Van Buskirk, Loren, Larry and Donald Fjetland. Mr. Van Buskirk died last Thursday at the Belmond community hospital, where he had been a patient for more than nine weeks. He was born at Blairsburg on March 12, 1899, son of Harry and Sara Montgomery Van Buskirk. He spent the greater part of his life farming in the Belmond-Klemme area. He was married Oct. 8, 1955 to Martha Cunningham at Harrison, Ark. Prior to his death, Mr. Van Buskirk had been farming northeast of Klemme. Besides his widow, he is survived by a brother, Virgil, of Cherokee and three sisters, Mrs. Milton (Mabel) Segar of Webster City, Mrs. Dan (Sadie) Fjetland of Riceville and Mrs. Paul (Mildred) Olson of Minneapolis. In addition to his parents, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
