MAHOMET – Raymond Fibikar, 85, of Mahomet, formerly of Wright County, Iowa, died at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 16, 2014) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Williams Cemetery, Williams, Iowa. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana, is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond Dean Fibikar, 85, of Mahomet, Ill., and formerly of Clarion, went to be with His Lord and loved ones Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014. Private family graveside services and burial will be at the Williams Cemetery, Williams, on Saturday, Sept. 20. Raymond was born January 29, 1929 in rural Boone and was raised in Wright County. He was a farmer, truck driver, lawn care, all around handyman and rodeo performer. Survivors are his wife Evelyn F. (Stromley) of Mahomet, Ill.; sisters - Arlene and Mary; brothers - Richard and Robert; grandchildren - Shawna, Shane, Dawn, and Marda. Plus several Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Also his Illinois family “The Stromley’s” Brian, Kelly, Karmen (Raylee),
Scott (Joanna, Daniel), and Kyle. Preceding in death are: son Roy from a former marriage to Evelyn J. (Bardwell); his parents - Myrtle, Joseph and Charles and his sister, Lynda.
