Matthew Scott McAdams, age 45, of Golden, Colorado, died suddenly on April 26, 2015, after suffering a sudden cardiac incident while biking. Matt was the grandson of the late Bus and Pearl McAdams, son of Nile McAdams and nephew of the late Fred McAdams, all of Dows, Iowa. Matt grew up in Wayzata, Minn., and spent many vacations visiting family in Dows. Matt attended Harvey Mudd College, University of Illinois and California Institute of Technology, where he earned a Ph.D.
in physics. He was founder and President of Woodridge Software. Survived by wife Jen; children Abbie and Luke; father and stepmother, Nile McAdams (Tara), Stillwater, Minn.; sister Stephanie McAdams, El Paso, Texas; in-laws Gary and Susan Olson, Otter Rock, Oregon; plus many more family members and friends. Preceded in death by mother Gwen Bowers, and grandparents Bus and Pearl McAdams; Marjorie Larson; and uncle Fred McAdams. SERVICES: Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 2 p.m. Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church, Lakewood Colorado
