Mrs. Meta Keeper's services held

KLEMME - Funeral services for Mrs. Meta Keeper, 89, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at United Methodist Church in Klemme. The Rev. George Brighton officiated. Burial was in Klemme cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Klemme in charge. Mrs. Keeper died Monday afternoon, March 2, in a Mason City hospital. Born in Germany Jan. 11, 1881, she was married in Germany to Henry Keeper. They came to this country in 1906 and settled in this community. He died in 1949. Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Alvin Keeper, both of Mason City; and a daughter, Mrs. Hilda Lucas, Canoga Park, Calif.
