Bruce Pergande, 65, of Webster City, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Faith United Methodist Church, with Pastor Michael Slininger officiating. Burial will be held at Cass Township Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the American Legion Post #191. Visitation for Bruce will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Bruce Dale Pergande, the son of Ernest and Barbara Johnson Pergande was born January 9, 1950 in Goldfield, Iowa. He graduated from Boone Valley High School in 1968. He served his country in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1969. At this time he moved to Webster City and worked at Siegs. Bruce was blessed with two children from his first marriage, Joel in 1970 and Barbara in 1973. In 1974, he began working for Kenny Silverstein at Webster City Auto Supply. On April 18, 1980, Bruce married Linda Kepler. He gained two sons, Kyle and Michael Kepler. In 1988, he went to work for Ben Silverstein at Webster City Iron and Metal, now known as Scrap Processors. Bruce retired in 2014. Bruce loved going to the campground in Clear Lake where he would fish, pontoon and enjoy his "Sports Drink." Bruce also enjoyed walking and talking with Stewie.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Joel Pergande and wife Lori, Barbara Pergande and friend, Harry Janvrin, Kyle Kepler and wife Hannah, Mike Kepler and friend Viki Arias; grandchildren, Chris Pergande, Nicholas Pergande, Brianna Pergande, Dilan Griffin; sisters, Kathy Christianson and husband Dave, Vicki Pergande; brother, Greg Pergande; brother-in-law, Dean Kitley; several nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vivian Kitley; brother, Richard Pergande; nephews, Kevin Kitley and Tom Peart. He was a member of the American Legion Post #191 and the Moose Family Center.
