Mrs. Harold Beckholt, 37, died at her home in Spartanburg, S. C, Tuesday afternoon following an illness of heart trouble. Mrs. Beckholt is the former Mary Mulligan of Eagle Grove and she was raised in the home of her grandparents the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mulligan. In addition to her husband she is survived by two children, a son Joe; 11, and a daughter Jane, 9, and her uncles and aunts, in the Mulligan family.
A service will be held in Spartanburg, and the body will be shipped to Eagle Grove for interment arriving in Ames Friday night. Those interested in the time and hour of the Eagle Grove services are asked to call the Wilson Chapel. Mr. Beckholt is the son of Mrs. Lena Beckholt, formerly of Eagle Grove, now of Spartanburg. He is a nephew of L. E. Wilson.

Last rites for Mrs. Harold Beckholt of Spartenberg, S. C., the former Mary Mulligan of Eagle Grove, were held Saturday morning at nine o'clock in Sacred Heart church here. Mrs. Beckholt died January 12 at her home after several months illness of heart ailment. The Very Rev. Thomas C. Mulligan, S S of Menlo Park, Calif., uncle of Mrs. Beckholt officiated, at the requiem high mass; and burial was in the Mulligan family lot in Calvary cemetery.
Those who were here from out of town for the services in addition to Mr. Beckholt and son, Joe, of Spartenberg, were Francis Mulligan; of Rochester, N Y., brother of Mrs. Beckholt, Rev. Thomas Mulligan of Menlo Park, Calif; Miss Gertrude Mulligan of San Francisco, Calif ; Mr. and Mrs. John Mulligan and son John Jr. of Minneapolis, Minn; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Kopecky of Des Moines, and Rev. James Slowey of Clarion. Following the funeral services relatives were entertained in the home of Miss Naomi Kenefick where dinner was served by a group of friends. Miss Gertrude Mulligan accompanied her brother John and family when they returned to Minneapolis and Warren Wilson of Boone took Mr. Beckholt and son and the Rev. Mulligan to Ames on Sunday where they boarded trains for their homes.
